Girlfriend avoids ticket
Funny story:
My girfriend has my car today. So she is cruising down Hwy 27 and a red S2000, dropped, big fart can on the back, WV plates pulls up behind her and they start accelerating down 27. She gets caught behind a cement truck, the red one keeps going, and by the time she gets out from behind the truck, she sees FHP pulling a u-ey to pull over the red S2000.
She calls me to tell me how much the car pulls once you pass 6000 rpm.
DUH!!!
I can hear the smile on her face.
meanwhile, I'm cruising down Hwy27 in her Expedition....whatever.
I ought to call her and tell her how much her truck pulls once it passes 6000 rpm.

I said, oh nothing to worry about the car has a rev limiter, and I went into somewhat detail on how it works. After about a 5 minute explanation, she fessed up and told me she was busy watching the road and hit the rev limiter in 2nd gear. I said "it scared the sh!t out of you, didn't it?". She said "OH YEAH!!"

My wife shifts at 2500 no mater what. I was embarassed to see her "out accelerated" by a school bus as I was following her to work one morning. Oh well less wear and tear than if both of us loved to drive fast.
BTW...as I stated in another thread....Red is always the one to be pulled over.
