Default go kart meet anyone?

hey guys just wondering if anyone would be interested in a monthly go karting meet. price would be $39.00 per person, it includes a 12 lap practice race a 12 lap qualifying race and a 14 lap race race for position. we need a minimum of 6 people to get this special. It also includes a trophy for the 1st place winner and medals for 2nd and 3rd place.

karts are electric but are very fast and torquey.
here's the location:

Tampa Bay Grand Prix
4710 34th St. (US19) N.
St. Petersburg, FL 33714

First meet will be on saturday August 22, 2009

Time: 8:00 pm

again we need a minimum of 6....who's in?

I love this place and we have several members that love going there but a multi-week league will be hard to fill because of schedules and economy right now..

I know the Bimmer guys have a league there or at least did at one time. If you are looking for a longer term schedule like that you may want to hook up with them or ask if there are open leagues to join up with.

its a great idea but I couldnt commit to multiple weeks or months

great idea and i would love to go, but is it possible to lower the laps along with the price. $40 is kind of pricey for one person

keep us posted

well we could go on a wed/thurs....those days are buy 2 races get one free so it would be 36 laps for 30 bucks...or if you you choose not to do that you can just buy one 12 lap race for $15.... hows that sound?

Those things look like toys compared to the CFRC karts.
