Default Good bye to all.

Well after spending a few months on this board and seeing what happens when your opinion differs others, and all the other non-sense, drama, debate over peoples actions at driving events, and arguments over who is right when it comes to tunning and the name calling and downgrading of persons including myself I have had, read, and heard. All the stuck up, up tight people, who think they know everything, grow up, get a life outside of the room your computer is in and stop trying to be an internet bully, its gay. Ive met most of you and your not as cool as you think you are.

so I decided I dont want to be apart of this childish board. For the most part and for the record all of the Orlando guys I have met and hung out with are cool.. and I like.

The rest of this board makes me sick, and actually causes me stress just from reading the crap and all the people who think there way is the only way.

Some of you will be happy to see me go. .. and your snide, comments you leave on this thread "if any" will just show and prove the character and vibe of this board.

See ya.

This is ridiculous.

Goodbye, I guess.

This drama is no longer entertaining. It's just kind of annoying. Everyone needs ot get over themselves and just enjoy what we've got.

This post is kinda hypocritical. You say you don't want to be a part of this "childish board" right after you say "...get a life outside of the room your computer is in and stop trying to be an internet bully, its gay. Ive met most of you and your not as cool as you think you are."

It's a sort of childish "If you can't play by my rules, I'm going to take my ball and go home" mentality. I'm not saying you're childish (because I've never actually met you in person), but don't you think it's a bit unnecessary to announce that you are leaving by insulting and belittling the people you don't like? If you hate the board so much BECAUSE of the drama, why not simply stop posting, rather than try and create MORE drama as you walk out the door.

Ladies and gentleman. This is a website. This is the internet. No one forces you to participate here. And once you've chosen to participate here, no one forces you to remain here. If you can't stand the forum politics, it's really as simple as Logging Out, deleting it from your favorites, and not coming back. Maybe you don't realize it, but there have been more drama-related posts in the Florida section today than car-related posts. And by starting these threads, you are only contributing to the cause for which you are leaving.

Pot? Let me introduce you to my friend kettle. I think you'll have a lot in common.

And with that said, I hold no hostility towards anyone on here. I actually think this community is among the most level-headed. The long-time members as well as fellow new folks like myself have been very welcoming, helpful whenever I need it, and generally courteous in all my dealings with them. I remember a year ago, when I first got the car, I was over in Tampa with some friends, and came across the TBAS2k crew meeting up at Sonic. As soon as I pulled up and found out I was a new owner, they all introduced themselves and immediately began answering my questions and sharing little hints about the car. Since then, I've had nothing but positive regards to and from the whole Florida community.

Any time you get a large group of people together, there is going to be differing opinions. It's embracing our differences, not clinging to arbitrary annoyances that make us better people.

Whew! That was quite the rant. So to wrap things up...Mike, sorry to see you go. But if that's your decision, then that's that. It's a shame, but life can and will go on; both for you and this community.

Ive noticed this forum has been goin downhill these past months. Although everyone is entitled to their own opinions, the actions created by some of our members makes this forum look less appealing to current and new members on this site. There have been numerous times where I was upsetted by certain posts, but what did I do? NOTHING! If you dont like something, than dont posts anything. Somethings are better off alone. I dont understand why there is so many disputes on this forum. Were all Adults who have a passion for the same car. I remember a time when I first joined this forum and was eager to meet everyone that was apart of it, now it makes me revaluate my original thought.
