Default Good place to take pics?

Yeah, so as you can probably get from the title, I'm in need of a good place to take some pics of the S in the Gainesville/Ocala area.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hmm maybe. I was looking for something a little more nature like, or like a cool place with graffiti or something (would use 34th street, but can't park there).

You should try to get in touch with abmusser (Alex). He was going to school at UF last year and i'm pretty sure he's back this year. He was a bit of a shutter-bug too so i'm thinking he may know of some cool spots.

But, if you do get frustrated with G'ville ... just let me know and i'll meet up with ya in some spots here in Ocala (and some points in between)

Yeah, not sure where I would park it to get good pics though.

It's been a while since I was back on campus, but i loved taking pictures of cars by the fountain across from Southwest rec center. It's the fountain next to the museum and in front of the performing arts center. Basically this one is nice as there is no traffic and you can put the car very close to the fountain

Another fountain I liked, but this one is tricky with traffic. Try this early morning on a sunday, but the fountain near the college of business. I liked this one because it had the University of Florida logo in the background

I miss FL, work is slow, miss the s2k but the good things are weather isn't brutal like FL, Ting and I are good, and family is close by. We're actually probably thinking of adding a lil one next year. How are things for you Tej?
I was actually thinking about the G'ville crew the other day as Vut tagged us on Facebook. sunblockers is my myspace and tingy01@gmail.com is our facebook, hit us up if you're on either.

To the OP, I'll try to find pictures of the fountains when I get home and you can see what i'm talking about.

and if you want pictures of Ben Hill Griffin, try the front view. There is grass and concrete you can drive up and take a picture with the stadium in the background. Once again, try this one early on a sunday morning

it's funny, both the Integra and S2k had black wheels withing a week of the picture being taken, but I never got around to retaking the pictures. Sucks for me
