On behalf of the group drive effort I must apologize. This has nothing to do with car type what so ever. This has to do with knowing who the person behind the wheel is. If you read further, we would love to do a combined meet sometime. If you check out the forum, we are planning a BBQ in January. Please come out and join us, as we are all car enthusiasts. Lets all meet, greet, and enjoy the wonders of high revving engines and have a great time. I will be putting a group drive together for February-Marchish and I would love to have you guys along, pending a great turn out at the BBQ. Myself and another member in charge of this group drive have SAFETY as our primary concern. We have gone to meets and met everyone joining us on this first group ride the club has ever done. Come out, lets meet, and lets have a great drive in this coming year.
Thank you for understanding,

its all good. I was going to close this thread at the request of thew OP and I spaced it out.
As a planner of group drives in the past I find it really stand up that RX007CYM would make such a post. This very issue has come up with our drives in the past and with good reason. Although accidents and drama can happen even with well known and trusted participants, it still show a good level of fiduciary responsibility to be proactive in this way.
After the good experience sharing a BBQ with the SRT guys and gals, I am excited to do the same with the RX people. I think it would be a good opportunity to meet new people and gain some perspective. After that, if people are willing we can do a joint driving event in the future.
Good stuff guys! Nelly, RX007CYM if you want to get something going for the BBQ, let me what I can do to help out.
