Default Had the S aligned

I had the car alined on monday and it was way off! I had put springs on it three weeks or so before to drop it about an inch up front and an inch and a half rear(on 17" BBS rims). The car felt like crap and the wheels were cambered out big time.
WOW what a night and day change the car feels better than it did when it was new.
And the alinement was only $47.00 bucks the guy spent about 45 minutes on the car and took pride in what he was doing and it shows, Best aliment I ever had!!!

The place I went to is here in Brooksville called Quick Fix Tire. They are on the HWY. 50 bypass next to Tractor supply. I have bought used tires from them for years but never any thing els. I'm cheep/pore I work for Wal-Mart I was over there last week because a tire broke a belt on the mini van (yes, the Puddy Dad drives a 94 Grand Caravan) and he fixed me right up with a $20.00 used tire that looks better than the rest on the van LOL. I asked about the aliment and after a talk I felt good about bringing my baby there. The experience was good and they had me in and out in no time.
I know it's a drive for you guys in Tampa but, the money you will save and the quality of the job is well worth the drive. If you decide to come up you can use the money you save to buy breakfast at Farmer Johns (Trendy breakfast I call it ) You will love it

Jeff,
since you have much more power than a stock S2000 and are not an autocross or a road course racer and having traction issues you might want to consider having your camber set to "ZERO" with all else set to stock specs. This will give you a flatter contact patch on your tires for better straight line traction. I did it on my old S2000 and it was much less tail happy especially in the rain. It did not seem to negatively affect my cornering speed at all. You tires will wear less and much more evenly.

For you Jeff it would be best to use 41 it will bring you right into Brooksville and only a short hop to the place.
Give me a call and I will give you detailed directions If you want to do it on friday morning, I am off and I can meet up with you and buy you breakfast
It's the least I can do for the killer ride

Reminds me of an experience at Fred Cox on Florida. Just north of Fowler. Someone here recommended the place. I just mapped it and drove over to it one day. I was frightened to see that it was a complete dump. But the guy really knew what he was doing. Amazing that the dealers use these fancy alignment machines with laser sights and this guy did a better job with basic tools and a good eye.

Maybe a good idea!

I was out today and can't boost hard in second without spinning. I need a sponsor to buy me larger rims and tires.

What exactly is the Canadian and UK specs I keep hearing about? I just had my car aligned at Cars & Concepts in Tampa in preparation for next year's autox season, max caster, -1.7 camber up front, -2.25 in the rear. All this on a stock car! Not bad!

they are just different setups for the suspension. I guess the regulators in Europe and Canada wanted the car to perform differently for thier road conditions or something like that.
