Default Hardtop color combo

In a coupe of months (mid summer), I'm planning on getting an OEM hardtop. Of course a GPW top is an option, but I'm thinking a black top would look pretty sexy on a GPW car. Any opinions? Thanks!

To me it would look like a glossy version of the rag top. I am not fond of the off color tops on the cars. I would go with the GPW and if you plan to keep it on a good amount of the time, I would also remove the tape around the windshield as well.

That was another question I had...how hard was it to remove the tape? Been thinking about doing that anyway. Did you just shoot it with a heat gun and peal away or what? Thanks!

Just open the door and youll see where the tape ends, just start pulling away, its kind of tough to get off but just keep yanking and youll eventually get it off. There will be residue left on it afterwards and you can use possibly goo gone or something like that to get it off. I forgot what I used but it was fine

Perfect time to whore my car again

Ok, forget the black top...that white on white is hot! Thanks Midorigreen, I think that pic was just what I needed to see to make my choice. Do you happen to have anymore pics of your whip with the white top?
