I'm gonna have some ztec style heat shields very soon. Working on finding dome anodized aluminum to use to give a few different color options. Heatshield will be just for the front of the engine.
Have some 1 lb countersunk shift knobs shortly too if anyone is interested at all.

darn fab'ers

I agree ... they don't appear to be too complicated for the fastening location or shape. So ... i'm sure you would have NO problem making em'

Just get some thin aluminum sheeting, make a template out of cardboard.... Cut, drill, and attach. I don't think it has to have the 3-dimensional bend that the OEM one has away from the battery. Just bring it straight up and end it just under the AC lines.

You can probably use some galvanized steel flashing material from Home Depot... Wrap it in header-wrap / reflective tape, and you are good to go.

I am probably going to make one when I get my car back from S&R Performance. I tried to get them to make one for me, but said it would cost too much money, and that I could do it myself for really cheap.

Quality custom heat shields take time. You can do it yourself cheap or pay someone to do it. Other than the stock one there doesn't seem to be too much call for them.

John was the first person to request one.
