Wow, all I can say is wow... The race was AWESOME!!! The engine sounded super loud, but it sounded more like music to me. (Sounds more like bunch of mad cats.) Our seats were at the first corner which is where most of the action happened. It's the corner you see the F-1 cars down shifting like crazy. I needed more of action pictures so I walked all over the place try to take some picture from different angles.(Just for you guys. ) But, sorry about my crappy point and shoot camera, some of the pictures look kind of blurred. After this weekend, I think I am getting a SLR camera for something like this.
Alonso and Hamilton put out a good show within the same team. Button still struggling from Honda's expensive poor design. I agree with what xupthree60 said about the TC off next year. It was my first time, so it was really fun to see all the fans dressing like crazy. I would say around 60-70% of the population were Ferrair fans.
Here are some pictures I promised. Again, sorry about some poor quality shots. Indianapolis is definitely a cool city, not too busy and very clean. Thank Red1 for some recommendation but we couldn't make our reservation on time and plus we were starving after the game. We went to a restaurant name RAM and it was good.
hereisnowhy, I hope you enjoyed the game as much as I did.
Enough of these bull crap, now please enjoy the pix !!
The RAM is a great sports bar especially before or after a Colts or Pacers game. Next time you go up let me know I would be happy to suggest some great places to eat and cool things to see. (IRL Race shops, NHRA Race shops etc.)
Did you go into the IMS Museum?
Great photos, looks like you guys had a good time!
I still say we get a group together to go to the Indy 500 next May. (Drive up) I will be there either way!
We were going to check it out on the way to the airport, but the time just didn't allow us to do so. But there is always next time to go back to check it out !!!
im glad u like my hometown eric cuz i love it! i will move back someday...
i really wanna try and make it to a grand prix some year, my family says its definitely a smaller crowd (500k v 200k) but they are crazy as shit! lol... im curious though did u park in someones yard or is there enough real parking to accommodate the grand prix?
