Default Hello, just down from Atlanta

Greetings,
Just moved down from GA and still getting unpacked. I have been lurking about for a week now and I must say, it is nice to see such involvement in autocross amongst the locals. As big as Atlanta is I was always disappointed by the low number of S2000s at SCCA events. Personally, I think you are missing most of what the car is about if you don't explore it's limits is a competitive and safe environment. I am actually flying up to GA to pick up the S this weekend and have hopes of attending one of the events on Feb. third, BCC or Buckingham. I have had the car for 3 years now, still bone-stock, and the GF and I have been autocrossing it from the get-go. It's been 8 weeks since I drove it last so I can't wait to get behind the wheel again. Looking forward to meeting a few of you.
Jeff

Hope to see you at BCC! It's a very short (30 sec) course.

RadioZero,
We are in Davenport for now, slowly finding our way around.

CaptainMike,
Yes, I noticed the times from the last event. Buckingham looks to be a little more like what I am used to after being spoiled by the lot at Turner Field, but dang, looks to be about 150 miles from where I am at. That is a long drive for 3 runs. Slight chance we may be out of town on the 3rd, but I still have hopes of making it to one of the two.

There's also SCCA events in Deland and check out the Martin Sports Car Club.

Buckingham is a lot of fun. But that's a crazy drive to be down here at 8am. You'll usually catch me out there. In case you needed their website gulf coast autocrossers
