take a cab up to Las Olas Blvd. by the river, just minutes away from the airport, very nice place to walk around in, good food(cheesecakefactory) , down by the water there is movies, steakhouses, bars, clubs.

 

the name of the place is pure platinum and solid gold. i am going to be with my buddy this next week and his girlfriend is a stripper there. i am sure she can hook me up with as many VIP cards that i want so let me know.

 

You would rather go on a cruise than attend Fossil Fest? There's just no accounting for the tastes of some people.

 

I tried to get into Fossil Fest but was turned down, so i settled for second best and decided to go on the cruise

 

There isn't too much right by where you are staying, but you can take a cab or rent a car and go to a lot of places. Downtown Lauderdale (Las Olas) is nice. There are also some bars/clubs in the Himmarshee area in downtown. Also you can go to the Hard Rock for the same stuff.

Add another vote in for Las Olas. You could easily spend the evening there at all of the shops & restaurants. It's relatively close to where you're staying, so the cab ride won't be outrageous.

You could also check out Beach Place up on A1A. Shops, restaurants, bar, beach, etc.
