Dropping by to say , as it's been awhile (long enough that I just found out my membership has expired ) . Finally getting all settled in over here in the Bayou State , and everything is going well . I'll be S'less 'til next month , but driving the Fit ain't so bad . Mardi Gras is in full swing , and it's been , umm .... interesting to say the least . Other than that , not much is new besides the surroundings . Work is taking up most of my time , as it was before , and the missus gets the rest (that's a good thing) . Anywhoo , anyone who has my # , gimme a shout , (yes Zdave , that means you) it's still the same . I'll try to check in more often now , as FLS2K is still my "home" , and I miss you guys . Well , someone showed boobies , and it wasn't her , so go figure . Truth be told , Mardi Gras can be quite dangerous . At the last parade here where I live , which would be Orpheus , they throw frickin' PINE CONES ! Sure , they're painted green , gold , and purple , but that doesn't make them any softer . I feel like an "embedded" reporter . To witness all this without ever having been through it before is quite a trip . These people are insane when it comes to Mardi Gras . Good times fo' sure . I'm told Fat Tuesday is really when all hell breaks loose .
