Default House get struck by lightning?

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure my house got struck by lightning today. Shook the entire house and a lot of appliances don't work anymore. None of the 3 TVs, garage opener, and several fans work. I was wondering if I'm going to have to replace all of these appliances or just need to replace some breakers or electrical outlets? Even the appliances that weren't on at the time don't work anymore. I figure someone in here mightve dealt with this, I don't even have internet connection (posting through my phone )

Take an appliance that doesn't work anymore to your neighbors. If it doesn't work, its broken.

reset the breakers and check the outlets for power. Home depot sells a small plug in (yellow with 3 lights on it) tester. if the outlet is good, the appliance is bad.

go through the house thoroughly and document all your problems, then call your insurance company. Homeowners insurance covers such things

Normally the deductible is $1000 for your house being struck!

My moms house just got stuck. It went through the cable line. Her insurance company gave her the same deductable as normal $500 in her case. She had lots of damage. 2 computers, Dishwasher, 3 Tv's, Cable modem, Wireless Router, and brighthouse had to come out and replace all of her cable lines.

Mine got hit about 10 years ago. It hit a 60+ year old oak tree in my back yard. Left a hole straight through the middle of the tree that was a foot in diameter. Went through the roots to our chain link fence. Fried the fence, must have found the telephone lines underground and blew our phones off the wall. It traveled through the chain link fence all the way where it butted up against the house by the window-sil and blew a chunk of concrete out of it.

Lightning is nothing to mess with.

it toasts the power supply and any remaining circuit it can get it's hands on... everythings digital an either in an always on mode or standby.. which is always slightly on... might check to see if whatever device you had was connected via some surge protector... some manufactures have insurance to protect you attached to your using their surge device... some carry very useful policies.... also have your home checked out to see no unseen electrical problem was created by the lightning directly, like melted or fused wiring... it does happen..
