I have decided to sell
Hey guys, well I think that the time has come to give up the S
I need a car that seats more than 2 and the wife was never really a 100%
s2k lover. I think she would have rather seen me in an Accord.
I would like to think I can still do the group thing wiith all you guys, but in a different car.
My brother-in-law works for Hughes aircraft so I get the full GM discount on practically all GM vehicles, so I thought that it would be stupid not to take advantage. I haven't consumated the deal on the new car, so I will not say that the s is gone yet. I guess I want to still be a part of the S family even if it does go.
Sorry to see you go.
Since you will be looking at GM cars, you might want to look at the Caddy CTS-V. There was a guy at Roebling Road this past weekend with one that I got a chance to talk to. He actually sold his '90-something Porsche Carrera (911) to get the CTS-V and he said in the day-to-day driving experience, there wasn't a lot of difference in power or handling except that the Caddy had more torque. He was VERY happy with it, and it was FAST on the track. Just thought I'd put that bug in your ear.
Take Care,
Bryan

Haven't heard or seen you for awhile. Just thinking about the Sarasota group the other day. Sad to see one of the "old" group go. I miss those days of a meet almost every weekend. The level of interest just isn't there anymore.
Good luck in whatever you get. The CTS-V is an excellent choice. I drove the base CTS and thought it was a blast. I'm eyeing the H3 that's coming out. Should be interesting.

We should start our own club of former owners called "SA" ( S2000 anonymous )
I honestly don't miss mine at all. I had much fun with it for 3 years and I have no regrets. Rainy season is upon us now and that means limited top down use and also limited traction for the S2000's out there. Front wheel drive and traction control is a wonderful thing in the rain
