I just saw the movie Cars
I know there have been a few here who saw Cars before it was released, and I won't give anything away to those who haven't seen it, but the movie is truly a masterpiece. I think it'll go down as one of the better car movies of all time. Aside from the ever-improving computer animation (just stunning these days), the story's good, especially the Route 66/small town angle.
The cast is about as wide a spectrum of car folks as could be imagined, and recognizing voices from all these pockets of the car world becomes a trip as the movie unfolds. My wife said her face hurt at the end of the movie, smiling the whole time as she was.
Anyway, good movie.

Looks like we have a chance of rain up here this afternoon. If it does then we'll probably skip the minor league baseball game and go see this. That or "Over the Hedge" so my 3-year old can learn to burp her freakin' alphabet. Either way, both movies are on the must see list for our house. Glad to hear it's worth seeing. Thanks for the review.
