Default I need your prayers please

I helped my brother in law with his deck a week ago saturday. I started experiencing some lower back pain the next week which became progressively worse and began impacting my ciatic(sp?) nerve causing me to experience numbness and extreme pain in my right leg. I had some x-rays taken on friday and upon first glance it may be more than we originally thought. The doc says that it appears that I have dengenerative joint desease. I am meeting with a neurologist tomorrow and will hopefully get an MRI soon after to assess the extent of the damage. This does not appear to be caused by my work on the deck. It just seems to have come to light because of it. I hope to avoid back surgery. I would apperciate any prayers from my S2K brothers. I have been unable to drive my car since last week. I miss it so much! I can barely get in any car much less the S.

Thanks,
Jerry

Man, real sorry to hear that Jerry. Hope this causes you as few problems as possible. I don't do a lot of praying so hopefully when I do, God listens. I'll send one out for you

I know right where you are pain wise and I feel for you deeply brother. I had a herniated disc that had calcified and pinched (almost severed my Ciatic). They had to fuse L4 and L5 and reroute my Nerve through my hip. I would not wish that experience on anybody.

Go through as much rehab as you can before considering surgey, it should be the final option. i say this because you will never be 100% after surgery. I had my surgery over 10 years ago and the scar tissue inside the the incision has never fully recovered, meaning there is pain everyday. Not trying to scare you but i am just saying the soreness and the sensitivity nevers fully goes away.

If you need to talk just call me up and i can discuss the therapies and the ups and downs of what you are going through

call me anytime 727-215-7065

It sucks to hear you going through this man
