INDY
Scott (TampabayNSX-R) hooked us up last time. There was some drama around how modified we could be so i am def. out of the running for a parade lap position this year. Plus if they do it again I want as many people to experience it as possible so i would be out this year by default.
I will PM him and ask if there is anything in the works.

Where you in it last time?

they said no modified S's, but I thought I saw wheels, exaust, and some others I can't remember that were not stock.
that was the controversy last time. They said no heavily modified cars. I was in it last year and had the following:
--Lowered suspension
--MY01 OEM wheels painted black
--HKS exhaust
Now I have completely changed the look of the car with a full bodykit, hood, headlights etc etc. I would say I would not qualify if they do it again
Here is the link to page 5 of last years thread about it (when it starts to get good)OH boy
Scott posts up the stipulations and the debate begins.
The end result is Honda wants what it wants and thats it. There were no issues with any of the cars that showed up (first 15 off the list i think) but none of them were WILD either. I would think that myself, Jcarlton, Hobbyholic (where did he go BTW) and Scorpion would not qualify because we went a little crazy with our mods.
Lets see if they are even going to have it this year before we get all bent out of shape LOL
But I would say it is safe to assume it will be like last year if they do, so going off of that assumption I can safely say you canhave the following:
Aftermarket: Wheels, Suspension, exhaust and possibly custom interior
Beyond that and you may be pushing the envelope of thier comfort level.
Lets see if Scott has any info

That just shows how much pride the owner puts into their cars. This gives the S a personality. Hopefully they change that rule and let anyone that owns an S2K drive in the parade lap, modified or not.
Since all is well and I will be all done at Pres day, maybe they might let my Future Misses take mine around the track since I more or less will be gone.
Want to make another meet so can't ask for to many times off.

I don't see why modified would be up for discussion.
