How high were your R/T's?
*for those that dont know, RT (reaction time) has nothing to do with your 1/8 or 1/4 mile times. It has no bearing on it, its jus there for when ya go against the other driver. You could sit on a green light for 10seconds and then run and still get 9sec. 1/8 time.
Just checked several web sites for the conversion and they all said 8.9 in the 1/8 mile is about 13.88 in the 1/4.
Need traction!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brian we need to go in on a set of rims and drag radials. There is No way I can go out with the 4.57s.

The fastest time I saw for the blue one was 9.3. Nole 99 usually got low 8's with nitrous at Sunshine when he used to drag race there. My fastest time at Sunshine with the stock S was a 9.0 dropping the clutch at 6500 rpm's. I got a 14.1 at Bradenton once when it was 40 degrees
Times can vary a lot even with the same car. The track seems harder to launch right with street tires then on the street but I guess it makes sense since that's what they're designed for
As long as you had fun that's what matters.

Traction was the main problem. Let's put it this way, the guys running in the high 6's had trap speeds in the low 90s. On my 8.9 run I had a trap speed of 90
so the car is fast, just not off the line. The last run I tried launching, held the revs around 4000 and just roasted the tires. Definitly need some drag radials.
