Default JAX - Dyno Day?

Hey guys, for everyone in Jacksonville I was wondering if you felt like putting together a dyno day -- I just a new exhaust in, and I would really like to dyno it (baseline it first prefferably, but I don't really know if I feel like paying $90 to have someone at the shop install the exhaust)? I know Velocity Trends will do 3 runs for $75 (non-group rate), I called Stage6 today and they quoted me $100 for 2 runs (1 before, 1 after install, non-group rate) ... thoughts?

Also, decided not to go w/ the coilovers (actually the seller hasn't been returning phone calls) so I picked up a set of Espelir ASD springs ... I don't really want to do the install on these myself (I read the writeups on installs here, it just seems like a huge PITA) and I was quoted $220 for the install by Stage6 -- does that seem like a good price? I've read that 2 guys can do a spring install w/o a lift or air tools in 2 hours, it seems like a high price to me?

We did a Dyno Day at Stage 6 a while back and payed $50. A spring install is pretty easy to do. We really should have a Mod day sometime soon. There are some people here who have done the spring install. Unless you are installing new dampeners, it is pretty easy. Just make sure you have a spring compressor available.

I'm definately down for a mod day, and $50 is a much better deal, how many runs did you guys get? How long ago was it?

You can rent a spring compressor for really cheap from Autozone I've heard, I just have no idea on how hard it is to do. I'm down for a mod day in the next week or two, get some beer and food and go to town! ... otherwise, if anybody just wants to help out with a spring/driveshaft spacer install next weekend, I'll buy the beer/pizza

We got 3 pulls for the $50...would not mind setting up another one, but would much rather wait until it is a bit cooler. Oct or early Nov would be ideal.

$220 is about right on the install most will charge $50 to $60 a corner for the job. You will need an alignment too after the install.

I would be down for a nice drive up to stage 6 for a dyno day I have not had a chance to see the place and Mace is a nice guy that knows his stuff

I'm also down for a dyno/mod day once I get my S back in shape. Especially w/her new engine that I might be getting! I have a Berk Header just chilling in my living room waiting to get acquainted w/her new home.

Are you replacing the dampeners too or just the springs?

Spring install is pretty straight forward if you have ever lowered any kind of honda. Only thing that made the S harder is the driver rear. I would be willing to help if you guys wanted to plan something.
