Just wanted to make sure all were invited for the Zephyrhills Celtic Festival Event that kicks off on Friday Night, March the 5th. The parade will have about 7-8 of the decal SPGP cars in it but all are welcome to attend. Starts at 7:00 PM. However, we'll be enjoying the fruitage of the evening well after that. Be sure to check out the website for the Sat and Sun schedule stuff, you will not be disappointed.

**** ....Channel 13 (Tampa) FOX 13, will be on site this Friday Morning from 7-10 AM doing their FOX On Your Block TV segment. They have shown in the past several of the Celtic Sports events, cultural shopping booths, Irish-Scottish Dancers, and who knows.....maybe a couple of SPGP Parade Lap Cars.

 

I got 9 cars for the parade, Scott.

I dont have the coordinators e-mail please tell him we will have enough cars for his initial count including the fire and police personnel if they confirm....

I dont know who (besides Scott) will be out there between 7-10 am but getting on tv is cool.

this is an open event for all to attend. If you are decaled up or just want to hang out, come out to z-hills for a fun night.

The main place is Zephyrlake. Though, I am not 100% sur exactly around the lake they will be filming. Call me on Friday morning on your way up and we'll ride into town together. A friend of mine operates a great Deli with killer breakfasts sandwiches 1 block from the Lake, my treat !!

guys and gals: this should be a fun and quaint thing to do on a friday night. we plan on eating and frolicking around the area after the parade.

I cant wait to get my bagpipe music fix on!!!!

I wish I had my Willoughby and McGreggor standards around. I am in both clans. Rob Roy was a distant uncle of mine!!!

this meet is open to anyone. The parade spots are full but the evening is wide open.

All right kids, this event is tomorrow and Cosmo PM'd me and others I assume about a group meet up and roll in, so I thought I would assist John and organize the meet up etc.

Lets meet at the BP Gas Station at the South East corner of the intersection of I-4 & Highway 301. This is just accross the street from the Florida State Fairgrounds.

We need to be at the staging area in Z-Hills by 6:00PM so let's plan on meeting at BP at 5:00PM and rolling out no later than 5:15PM. We can go north on hwy 301 from BP.

This location should be central for everyone and a good spot to launch from to get to Z-Hills.

Chime in if you are meeting at the BP so we know who to expect.

I'm gonna be coming from westshore and google maps suggests rolling straight up 275 from here. Anybody else coming f/ this side of town and want to meet at Westshore mall at 5pm?

 

Thats one way to go. I assume you are taking I-275 to I-75 to Hwy 54. Check the mileage it may be a shorter distance to meet up with us and roll together.

Correct, that's what google suggested. I'm not worried about distance, just time....I have no problem leaving at 4:30 and meeting with you guys though.
