yes lakes and canals and golf courses near by, i just waited for him to come to the surface and grabbed him behind the head like in the pic. ive caught them before out of neighbors pools also, its quite common around my house

ill try to find the other picture of the bigger one from my neighbors pool

man youve caught several of them with your bare hands?? are they not quick? id be affraid to catch them...i hate snakes and alligators
