Default Man Pulled Over After Allegedly Racing UC Cop

Apparently there are additional under cover patrol cars in the Orlando area now.

I find it hard to believe that there was no provocation. I'd bet that although the officers were in uniform the windows are tinted. No one is gonna try to race to officers in uniform unless they are asking for it.

Yes I know racing on the street is bad, but you can almost feel the provocation from the undercover Mustang.

But, it says he passed them doing 115.
I couldn't play the video, but does that mean, Rausher had no clue what he was coming up on, or did he pull away from them during the 'race'?

I don't know, I just watched the vid, and it looked like he was just driving not racing...unless he was racing someone other than the car with the cam. Also in the vid...the cop is driving like an ass doing 111mph even before he turns the lights on, so much for "PROTECT and serve". Sometimes cops piss me off...but they are a necessary evil...just like tax attorneys

I just ran into a couple of those setups on gulf blvd in Naples. 2 new Mustangs, completly unmarked were helping set up a trap with a couple county cars. On the way back down the street both Mustangs had cars pulled over.

The video only shows the chase car running the guy down, and stopping him. It conveniently omits the actual race. I feel bad for people who get targeted and/or provoked by these officers, but at the same time...this guy in particular was going well above 100mph so he can't really blame anyone but himself.

I am fine with the idea of unmarked cars enforcing the laws, but I really have mixed feelings about the idea of officers potentially luring someone into a race who otherwise may not have even considered it. That is not cool at all particularly since they will be mostly picking on people driving imports and other sports cars.

Where are the undercover cops posing as soccer moms so they can pull over other soccer moms speeding in their SUVs while yacking on their phones, putting on make-up, and yelling at their kids???

Glad to know that they are using the new Mustangs though...now I know to watch out for them as well.

That is so true. I think that the world would be a better place without people using cell phones while driving.
