Default Mase Engineering

Greetings in the new year.

Things have been quite hectic for Mase Engineering in the recent weeks. As many of you know, the dyno has been in storage for quite some time. Over the holiday season I traveled considerably all over the world again while I had the down time. Despite the struggling economy, people still needed their cars tuned

None the less, although we will no longer operate within the Stage 6 Motorsports facility, dwight and ricky at stage 6 will still be working together with us on some things.

The brand new 3000 sq/ft facility is currently under construction. Its still located in jacksonville, just south of 9a on philips highway, not far from honda at the avenues.

Ive been getting an enormous amount of emails, I have a long list of various cars that need to be on the dyno, so I'm quite anxious to get my AWD Dyno back up and running.

Most of the stuff I'm concentrating on is product development for various platforms in the upcoming months. Ive decided to steer away from the general mechanical work, as the tuning/product development is what Im more interested in. I always get asked what I have in the works, So why not share-

Some of the developmental stuff I have in the works as we speak:

S2000s: THE most thoroughly designed turbo kit for the RHD and USDM cars. New developments in ecu platforms, as well as some other smaller component performance pieces.

Lotus: We've finished up the development of a liquid to air intercooler for the Exige S, along w/ a dual outlet race exhaust that sounds amazing. next is a package for more boost

Ford GT: Pulley/Tune package. Along with some correct cooling mods that will fix the heat soaking issue out on the road course. Our 05 White Ford GT should be here soon, so be on the look out around jax for that to be storming by you.

Nissan GTR: We've held off on some development thus far since the black GTR decided to destroy 4th and 6th gear. We are hoping Nissan will warranty this... But depending upon the transmission woes, we are upgrading the shop developmental GTR with larger turbos

BMW 335i: Im picking up a 335i within a month or so to replace my TL as a daily driver, always been interested in seeing what can be made from these cars.

Another key platform will be mainstream, but I will not release info until its well under way. I have many months of work ahead of me, so I dont want to get too far ahead of myself. Porsche, NSX, EVO/Subaru, Corvette product development to be also considered.

I am also picking up more tuning platforms as well. Been doing a lot of domestic cars, keeps me entertained always doing something new.

When the shop is up and running, I will probably have a gathering and the local s2ki crowd will be welcome.

Below is the picture of the facility. It will not have a generic 'speed shop' show room, as again, im not going to be running a retail parts/mechanic shop. Most of that stuff will be routed to Stage 6 Motorsports.

As always, Im here to help as much as I can, if anyone has any questions, I always try my best to help people out. This is going to be a very busy year, but we are all excited for the things to come.

Regards,

Mase

Good luck in the coming year. Thanks for the tune/call also btw. You guys are lucky to have a tuner in your back yards.
