Any interest for a South FL S2KI meet? I know everyone is busy but it's been pretty dead here lately so let's get together and change that soon in the next month or two. Any ideas for where and when? One of the last meets was at Tijuana Flats in Plantation if anyone wants to go back there or somewhere else.

 

I'm down for a bbq meet. Makes the most sense imo, a lot of us have families and busy schedules. It's something people can come and go as they please, bring their kids, it's cheap and always has a laid back atmosphere. The FP meets were always successful, idk why we haven't tried the same thing with s2k people yet.

I'll be down for a markham park meet/ BBQ. The FP meets are very successful in doing that.

 

It will. Even if its just a few cars this for this time.


What do you guys think in about 2 months for a Markham bbq meet to give people some time to take off or do what they need to do. Saturday Nov 3rd or Sat Nov 10th? Guicar and I used to setup the Florida Prelude meets for the last several years so I have no doubt we can make this a success. We just need people to come out and have a good time.

 

Problem with Markham has been in the past few years it never takes off because people wind up bitching about the $1.50 entry fee (as pathetic as that is) as well as issues with getting people to chip in for food & drink and having someone man the grill. Probably best to do a BYOF/D.

Hopefully something takes off this time as it's been a while since a good S2Ki meet.
Nov 3 I'll be heading back from SEMA but if it's Nov 10, I'd even try coming down...but that's just my personal preference
