However, I loved Phelp's comment that they (Team USA) weren't going to comment or make a deal over what the French said and instead, just show them what their response is. Humble and still competitive.

ya this has been an amazing olympics so far... i love how even when MP was "conserving" energy during the prelims he was still way ahead of everyone LOL. What a great role model for ppl too.
