you might find trading your all red seats for the two-tone black and red seats a hard sell. People be lovin those red and black seats.

Have you considered re-doing the outer red leathers in black and repairing the bolsters on the seats you have?

Well i was planning on trading for all black ones. Thats why i asked how it'll look.
Where would i be able to order the outer leather. An get the bolsters repaired? I dont know of any upholstery shops around the Orlando area.

I would rather get them redone but im just checking my options. I wouldn't be spending any money if i trade for all black ones.

any good upholstery shop should be able to re-do the seat's outer parts with ordered material... I dont know wny shops over there either, sorry.

Repairing or rebuilding the bolsters should be a standard procedure anywhere you go.

what this option will do for you though is open up the palette and let you come up with something unique if you want. you can explore different styles and textures (perforrated, alacantara, diamond stich, scalloped stitched etc)

I persoanlly think the black outers and red inners in your current interior would look awesome. All black would be a step backward from your current all red option IMHO. All black would look "thrown in there" while the two-tone look would continue the trend you have with the door panels.

I am sorry i mis-read what you were asking in the original post...

if you are wanting to trade your all red for all black, try to find a NFR owner with an all black interior that would want to splash some red color into their interior....even then they would probably want to trade you door inserts at the same time which would kill the look of your interior if you traded those too...

all red or all blue seats are hard to trade out because the recipient has to be fully committed to your seats to do the trade. i traded my black seats on my first S for blue seats and blue door inserts but I fully commited to that color as a trim color throught my whole car (engine bay, console cover, valve cover, hoses etc)

Just be glad you dont have a full red interior (red dash, carpets seats and doors), your eyes would be bleeding everyday and it would be very hard for you to get a good two color scheme going in the interior.

I definitely like the black/red seats...
You can buy some fairly cheap covers that are two toned...
That way you can check it out first....

I'm sure someone can photo shop your pictures with black seats...

Thanks a lot for your help. Makes a lot of sense.
I think im going to do some research on some good upholstery shops here in Orlando an have them re-do the seats black/red like you said. Take a step FORWARD!
Thanks.

Everyone elses opinion really makes no difference , you do what you like. I agree with RoB (Primogen) though , the Red inlay with black bolsters looks nice especially since your interior is not a fully red one. I have seen ads on here for leather(Katskin)

If you want to do a swap for black seats I have a black passenger seat in my car and driver seat in my living room and a red racing seat in my driver position... if we could figure out a way to do the swap (im in jersey till I move to Florida in october) Id be game... The driver seat would basically be a gamer chair for my fiance (yea shes the gamer and not me... go figure) so as far as condition id only really care for the passenger seat since its the only one that'd go in the car
