Not sure what the budget you have in mind is...

But my brother (he's 25 and makes about $36k a year) is renting a house in Palm Bay for about $1000/month. It's a 3 bed/2 bath/2 car garage with about 1700 square feet on 1/8th or 1/5th acre (I can't remember). Anyway, the point is, that Palm Bay has some decent property for cheap, but it's a fairly large area, crime can be bad in parts...so you should always check out places ahead of time.

If you need someone to scope something out on the coast, let me know and I'll take a look at it.

Well, I live in Sanford (west of I4). I work in Maitland (north of Orlando) and the traffic can be horrendous! it can take anywhere from 15 minutes to over an hour to get to work (about 14 miles). You might be used to traffic being from NJ...

I agree with Matt, find a job first and then find a place to live. Besides, the price of housing is dropping right now, so waiting is good.

Also, there is nothing to do in Sanford, other than resturants and movies. So if you like to go clubbing, downtown is where you will probably go. That would take about 45-60 minutes with normal traffic.

Lot's of medical stuff close to down town too if "Chemical stuff" means labwork?

Anyway good luck and keep posting your questions!

Dan
