Default Multiple Stolen Seats in Clearwater

This was posted in my thread on Hondatech.

I wasn't sure which of the three Florida forums to post this in, but here it is:

10/17/05
Monday morning, our collision center have (3) S2000 w/ no seats that were tow in from the weekend. Not including the (4) that were done last month.

Florida is by far the leading State for stolen S2000 seats.

I've never heard of anything like this with any other car. It's unbelievable, but true.

Perhaps we should post in the "tell honda" forum about them making them more difficult to get out.

I just heard that Brandon Honda had every single one of their S2000 seats stolen off the lot one night. Crazy. Glad my baby has a garage.

Milk crates are lighter... right? Why would they want our seats? Why not Type-R seats?

becasue the retail on them is over 4K for factory replacements. Not saying you can sell them for that much but it does put a premium on them, plus they are some of the best designed factory seats especially with the G-LOCKS installed on your seat belt

Come get mine, I have been waitng for a decent excuse to force my insurance company to get me new ones - my bolsters are screwed

They won't get you new seats... trust me... I KNOW.

I am still waiting for the check from the ins co for my stolen seats and slashed top. Oh, and another "bonus" of getting your seats stolen is that you won't be able to drive your baby for about a month.

YOU'll get an exhilerating dodge neon to drive...
