My car is all back to stock now...
Today, I took off my intake, header, test pipe, and exhaust and put on all the original parts. Long day, did it all by myself. Why you ask? Sad to say, but needs to be done. I am moving out to the beaches for school and I would rather be able to save money than spend every penny I make on bills and my car. So yes, I am selling my car for a beater until I get done with college. I learned many things from this car.
1. How to buy a car. The dealer ripped me off, because I didn't know what was going on. But I will always know exactly how to get the best deals on cars for now on.
2. Never buy a new car! Selling this car after only 6 months makes me realize I threw away over 10 g's. New cars are great but because of this, I will now have a worse car than I had before the s2k. And I still lost money!
3. Never mod my car. Wow, modding is way too addictive, and a waste of money. I spent all that money on mods that I will only get maybe half the money back. I was never even happy with my car! I just always wanted more. After I put all my stock stuff back on my car felt just the same, just quieter.
4. S2000 owners are the best group of car owners in the world. I don't even have to explain this. You all know all the great things we get to do because of our cars and all the great people we get to meet.
All these things pertain to me only. I am in no way trying to give advice to anyone. I am too young for that. I am just making myself feel better about me selling my car. Because I know that even though I made many mistakes and wasted tons of money buying it. The things I learned from this experience will help me ten fold for the rest of my life. I will still be hanging out, just as a loser with a loser car
By the time I am done with college I will have plenty of money to buy another s2000 or whatever Honda brings out next!
