Sorry to hear about not working out with 2nrwerks. I have used the Firestone dealer up on Fowler, but that's mainly because I have a lifetime allignment from firestone. They seemed to do a good job but can't give any details.

GL I hope you find a good place. The dealer can do it and are usually dependable but are going to charge an arm and a leg.

Ill give the firestone place a try then.

I know the 2NRWerks guys are known for the preformance tuning and what not, maybe they are not "regular" mechanics that want to do the basic work for people. They are highly regarded in this forum, so I don't want to knock them, I just wanted to find someone who won't screw me over when it comes to car repairs. I work so my time is limited during the week and taking time off is not somthing I want to do regulary.

Sorry we could not help today. We do not do the alignments and cannot control someone's shop schedule. We tried to get the manager to fit you in but his head tech was out sick today. I am very sorry about the missed phone calls. I was in and out of the shop today at least 3 or 4 times today and each time I asked if you were getting taken care of once I returned. After I found out that the tech was out sick today, I was glad the manager did not fit you in 'cause Donnie is "The Best" in town on the alignment rack and gives us the spec that we like to see on the S2K, unlike other shops that go by the book.

We appreciate the oppoptunity to service your car but we are "regular" mechanics and do brake jobs and oil changes but we happen to specialize in S2000 performance work. If you looked in the shop today you can see some pretty impressive cars. We have 2 turbo S2K's and another S2K getting a performance clutch installed, an S2K getting a motor built, an NSX getting supercharged and a Civic getting a GSR motor built for it.

I regret reading this and that I did not personally take care of you today. If you would consider using us in the future, I will discount your next service just to gain your confidence back.

Todd

And Rob did not say anything to you beyond what he wrote in here, you may have spoke with Rick today but I was not there until about 7pm to get my oil changed.

as far as the competent and reliable statement, that statement can be taken two ways so I wil leave it alone.

There are often mitigating circumstances as to why the shop may be open and closed at different times during the day/night. There are no real shop hours and much of the work done is by appointment only.

I am also sorry you hamstringed a little today but sometimes accomodations can not be met due to (in this case) the availability of the tech and the need for all of the present employees at 2nrwerks to be off location getting parts (the reason you came to a closed shop this afternoon).

IMHO if you want an alignment from a shop that has done many S2000's and do it right, you would look to the Kauffman tire location simply because they have done so many, being the shop Todd uses.

A honda dealership sees what 1-3 S's a quarter for alignments???

Who do you think is going to know more about the ins and outs of alignments?

Just wanted to up date this. I was able to get over there this saturday and have it done, and it is much better now. Learned a number of things about the S2000 from Todd too. Stand up guys IMHO.

I am howerver getting strung out by the Dealer, Brandon Honda, about the manual and the floor mats. They have ceased returning my calls and I am pissed about it. I just spent all this money and these guys are acting like douchebags
