Its going to come out nice. I was going to do the same with that thrashed ap1 bumper I had but just never got around to it. Keep it up man.

fiberglass or plastic will shrink. it's just the way it is. the best thing to do is get a spare bumper. do the work, let it sit in the sun for a week or two and after it shrinks, do the repair, let it wait another week or two for more shrinkage and then paint it.

I had the front of my car shaved way back in 2002. of course it shrank, and I had to have it redone.
