I think the 04 or maybe the 05 ( i forget) switched to RIo yellow instead of Spa.

Both are a 3 stage pearl paint and they look absolutely stunning in the sun and under bright light at night.

The rio has a touch of red in the paint that gives it a warmer look than spa. Next to each other the difference is more apparent.

the draw back is color matching if it is ever in an accident. Not impossible but the painter will have to know his craft to do it well.

I say if you want an S you should at least go check this one out and see what you think...ask tons of questions and demand a carfax just to rule out wierdness in the history...I am still puzzled by the low price

Well the issue is that a hardtop/front spoiler/rear spoiler can't really be taken into account with the pricing. So I think they just priced it as a regular car...

I may go look at it Monday, we'll see...

Maybe they don't know what it is that they have. They wouldn't be the first dealership that knows nothing about a car they are selling.

How many miles are the 04/05 cars getting before major surgery (i.e. clutch work...)

all those body parts are expensive from the dealership when you chose them as upgrades or buy them out right

as a buyer you have to look at it as at least 3500.00 in free upgrades

depending on the previous owner(s) and their clutch style it may be due for a new clutch setup

still an excusable expense for a car at this price. the milage is still in the 15K per year range so it is not too bad there

I say get it since I sold my 01" with hardtop and some aftermarket parts with 51k miles for about the same price. It's a steal. But go check the car in person is needed.

That was my concern, I don't really want to purchase a car that requires maintainence...

I guess it may have already have it done... decisions decisions...

The clutch all depends on the previous driver . I have the OEM clutch in my Accord with 162k miles . I have friends that go through a clutch in 3500 miles or less . All depends on the driver
