The only thing is that If I had enough money to do that to my car I'd probably just buy a nicer car I can see it now on Pimp my Ride with a $200- 1968 Cutlass with 28" rims and these doors. I also wonder how if affects side impact in a collision?????

wow...just wow. I guess we have something to look forward to laughing at when we go to car shows now. Maybe not the door itself, cause that is pretty neat, but the first time you see some guy go to open his door without enough clearance and hear that loud scraping sound....

i thought someone had posted one of those on here before but maybe i was wrong and it was somewhere else...

neways the cars are completely un practical. they made them years ago and one guy that ownes one spent a ton of making one them work again and still hasnt made the drivers side work yet, also the window cracked on him trying to make it work. also the trunk is full of crap including bottles of gas or something that needs to be refilled after so many door openings.

and the worst part is that its still a ford...

There is a problem with this whole concept that is so apparent I am surprised that no one else has even thought about it.

I think of what it's like for the Spanish Navigator, wearing a short mini-skirt and high heels, to get out of low-slung roadster, such as the S2k. You know...that gentle slide of the backside on the seat, then one tanned leg, extended out to the ground while the other is still in the floor well...the discrete spreading of the legs. No matter how much modestly she uses, she can't help but be immodest.

This contraption ruins all that and for that reason alone should be relegated to the scrape heap of bad ideas.
