Back when i bought my Fit, i was comparing it with the Yaris as well, and wound up going for the Fit...the build quality and interior quality was MUCH better i thought in the Fit. Also, it is a Honda, and that is a huge selling point for me

But the Yaris can be REALLY fun if you spend a few $$ on it... Tein has coilovers for it, and there is actually a fairly large following in Japan to set them up for racing... and they handle remarkably well.

Don't feel bad about MSRP, I ordered a 2009 Honda Fit last week and had a hard time stomaching that as well...
I'm thinking of doing the same. Did msrp go up compared to the 2008 fit?

Don't fret over the purchase price. Over the life of the car a few hundred dollars one way or the other won't make a wit's difference.

Couldn't do the Fit...price was out of my range and I didn't want 4 doors.

I have just over 150 miles on my first tank so far and I haven't even hit the halfway point yet! I'm loving this thing!!!
