I second this one, and I agree with Primogen in another thread that we should try to track these thefts as well, location, M.O., etc.

Stolen Thread.

We can set this up fairly easily. No problem. How do you guys want to structure it?

This is a good first step, this would be the Awareness part of a program. Gathering the information is one of the most important aspects, understanding and interpreting the information is another part. My opinion is if your going to do something like this you need to start putting a program together that can begin to produce a favorable response.

I have been trying to get the information out, the thing is unless you have been robbed personally then people have a tendency not to show interest. I feel that people need to become more proactive, rather than getting a alarm after your robbed get one before your robbed and possibly prevent it. Did you know that the majority of a Alarm Companies business is after someone was robbed, it

IMO in order to start a proper Theft Reporting Program, proper feedback is a very important element. What I mean by proper feedback is that it needs to remain constructive. Talking about what you would do if you ever meet the thief in a dark alley IMO does not help the cause. Instead, use your anger in a constructive manner. Seek professional help from Law Enforcement and private sector security experts and remember not all Law Enforcement is going to be very responsive. Law Enforcement is stretched thing so often you will get the generic response
