I installed a new to me Borla exhaust on my car today....The system is a hybrid half OEM and half Borla setup. The mufflers are set a bit to far apart because, the muffler tips are not center of the exhaust openings in the bumper, they are set off to the outer left and outer right of the cut outs.
I can fix the fitment issue with a little work and welding to make it right.
I put my factory header back on also, along with the factory cat. I hot coated the exhaust and used header wrap on all the piping. The exhaust sounds great, has a good rumble on throttle and deceleration and is OEM quiet at cruse :just what I was looking for thumbup: I am thinking of using a set of Lexus round exhaust tips. The Lexus tips are larger than the AP1 tips and have an angled tip
Hey Ben ... just a side note for your tips. Acura RDX tips are also slanted and the same ID. You would just need to modify them slightly as they have a little curved piece of stainless that interferes. I had them on my AP1 for a little while.

I will check it out, the Borla mufflers have a 2 1/2 (63mm) outlet.
