I bet you miss the off the line performance coming from an STI

There are no roots type blowers for the S2000 only centrifugal/turbo style superchargers although a roots blower is what it really needs to add the power down low where it's lacking. Welcome
I just heard yesterday that Roots is coming out with a S/C for the car. Sounds like you are on the right track.

Welcome

Sweet ride... I love the color, but i decided against it because I would never stop cleaning a white car. WELCOME

Greetings and Welcome to the show!

FYI, I run a 2003 with a bolt on Vortec SC and Spugen dual oval exhaust system, nothing else. My two Dyno pulls about two months ago with the gang saw 288 on both pulls at the rear wheels. Standard 6# pulley.

I see that you have a shop up in Zhills where I live. What do you specifically do there? I'll swing by and you can check out the Vortec setup and see if this interests you.

It's not my shop, but a friend of mine. His name is Craig -- very cool guy! He's actually trying to become one of the premier Subaru shops around here, but he does everything on all cars. Turbo kits, engine swaps, custom audio (Polk dealer), body work, etc. He doesn't, on the other hand, do reguar maintenance/repair.

pac_s2k, what's up? I live on Tampa Rd. near US19...don't know if it was you, but I honked at a silver S2000 going north on US19 at the Tampa Rd. intersection. I'm normally with a couple Miatas and a Mini Cooper S.

Ditto That, I stopped in last night on my way home from work to see if you and the car would be there. Craig is a cool cat, great attitude, says he wants to get involved with the S2K's in the area. Service and price is all that is required. Product can be bought anywhere but supporting those that support us is a better arrangement.

He said that you will be at the shop for the Monthly Fling (1st Friday of every month, 7 PM til ???). I have a meeting from 7-9 but will do my best to swing by right after that. Maybe I'll get a chance to see you there. He says that the SEMA SHOW Polk Audio Truck/SUV will be there. That will be worth attending by itself!! Polk could score big brownie points with S2K owners if they could provide some special installation reccommendations without cutting into foot-wall firewalls and taking up all the trunk space.

Anyway, Craig states that Subaru's, a 240 drift club, and other serious hardware cars will be there so It should be interesting to attend. Any other S2k's out there planning on attending? Right on Hwy 54, southside, about 3 mile East of Morris Bridge Road, 1/2 mile before Winn Dixie, Zephyrhills.

The SEMA truck is mainly audio, no wild body kit or anything, but it does get the job done! ~148dB with four mainstream 12" subs and two 500w(?) amps, all custom enclosure.

There are usually a few Subarus (I met Craig when I had my STi -- he hasn't even seen my S2000 in person yet!), don't know about the drift club (usually at least one S14 shows). Buddy of ours, Ryan, and Craig's first major project, Ryan's 2001 Subaru 2.5RS with a JDM V7 STi engine/tranny swap. Damn thing ran 13.0 in the quarter with an alright 1.9 60'...stock engine (intake, exhaust, and BOV)! Looks factory, too.......

I'm heading up there a bit early, around 3pm or so, and will be there until everyone leaves, normally around 11pm. Hope to see you there (look for the short fat guy, lol)

Glad to hear another positive remark about Craig and his shop!

I will have to stop by. It takes a lot to hit 148db. I hit 140 db with my setup in a 78 Corvette but it hurt.

Now I am going for sound quality with good bass.

Where is this shop exactly?
