Have you talked to the location to see when they are free and available?
They do the Orlando Cars and Cafe there once a month, so you don't want to run into a problem with that.

Yes, I have.

The last two Saturdays of August are already booked (Cars and Cafe, and some Muscle Car event), but other than that they said it was clear. Should definitely not be a conflict with Cars and Cafe. That was my first thought. Thanks for checking though.

I guess there are still no objections for early August?

Anyone know when the local AutoXs typically are each month in Orlando/Tampa/etc.?

Just my .0000000002, June, July, and August are usually the hottest months. This event at Kamispeed was nice but heat stoke central!

I agree... the June KamiSpeed meet got unbearable. I think at Route 46 you'll find a few more shaded and a/c equipped areas though, so that should help.

Big car meets are always more enjoyable from November-March, but those times also create more scheduling conflicts for more people.

The dates you suggested would work for me. Route 46 gets packed at night so I can't imagine we'd be able to have the actual meet in the evening. Any thoughts on having a planned group drive? There is some very nice driving roads out in Lake County which could incorporate a photo shoot out at the Yalhala Bakery location.

My thoughts exactly. It might not be the best weather wise, but I think scheduling wise its the best. Being in between semesters is a huge plus as well (at least for college students like myself).

I won't be planning a group drive, since I don't know the area. But I hope to be able to convince one of the locals or group drive masters to plan something out and lead it. We'll see. Unfortunately that's kind of out of my hands in the end.
