Check with Todd over at 2nrWerks, they just did one last week.
Someone got a 75shot.

Not to many people have it.

Nole 99 ran it for a while. He ran good with a 75 shot and an upgraded inline fuel pump. He got consistant very low 13's in the 1/4 mile. He tried a 100 shot. He detonated and blew up some spark plugs and had to replace his valves and refurbish the valve seats. Run one step colder copper spark plugs to avoid detonation and change them frequently. Anything over a 50 shot and you'll need a higher flow fuel pump. It's a good bang for the buck but you have a lot of possible reliability issues, constant bottle refilling, illegal for use on the public roads. Most car insurance companies will cancel your policy if they find out you have it installed on your car. If you have a POS drag race only car go for it but I wouldn't recommend it on a daily driver, especially a nice S.

I have a nice nitrous switch & button on mine car !!!!!!!!
The ex-owner(he was 55 ) ran the nitrous on it. He told me that he had 75
shots on it and only used it for 3 times Since the car had only 6k
miles on it when I bought it, I believed him.

He also had it tuned at a shop. Don't just bolt it on and go for a run.

Well, it does depend on what kinda kit ya run. I had a 99 R/T Neon with a 75shot. It was realiable and really made the car skoot, my best time in the 1/8mile was 8.90 w/ crappy 2.20 60foot.

I was running the VENOM kit. It was all computerized. You tied into the Injectors, TB and O2 sensor, if the kit read a lean mix, it would shut down the nitrous, I ran one step colder on the plugs and for added assurance, I got an MSD DISII box. My neon had a Fuel cut off rev limitor. If you hit that while running Nitrous, you risk blowing your car up. So I got the DISII, It had an electronic rev limitor that I set 200rpm below factory, the worse case scenerio would be to get intake backfire from loading up on nitrous. no biggie, it never happend to me though. I had alot of fun with it, but once the bottle is empty the fun is over. Jus seen an episode of PINKS and the guy lost the race cuz he ran outa nitrous.

I did the nitrous thing, it was fun, but is nice to have the power all the time. I personally think the S2000 is perfect for FI, I rode in scorpions car, it was 350hp at the time. Below 5000-6000rpm, it drove like a normal S, once above that with the vtec and full boost, it was a rocket. So IMO ya get the best of both worlds with FI on the S.

It must be tuned properly and another thing users forget is to have it serviced every 6-8 months to ensure everything is operating properly.

We just did a Suzuka Blue '02 last week and it hits pretty hard. We set the purge to come out from both sides of the fenders shooting at a 45 degree angle upwards.
Pretty cool stuff.

We have another project (kinda Area 51 secret) on an S2k that we are doing some unique twists with nitrous and FI.

Stay tuned!

There is a guy in MD, JDMMIKE35.
I think that is his S2ki name, did turbo and Nitrous and is suppose to run over 700 hp. Not sure if it is to the wheels.

Todd, should be something to see when it is done.
