i just think that we, as Americans and the basis for our own gov't, should be able to actually VOTE on the TOPIC ... and stop putting our trust in politicians in HOPES they will vote how we really feel.



Because, from what i've read and heard ... the 'Bailout' was something that the MAJORITY of Americans APPOSED!


Personally ... I'd like to know how Richard S. Fuld Jr. can justify his nearly $250,000,000 salary over the last 8 years while practically every economist predicted the negative effects of the mortgage procedures. Oh, and then have the nerve to write bonus checks 3 days prior to coming to the gov't begging for money.
