Obama Wins!
However not my choice for President, it is a great day for America. The first African American President will have his hands full. The eyes of the nation are expecting something that I do not believe he will be able to give them, but good luck non the less.
We've come a long way!! Congrats to all of Obama's supporters
A century ago, President Theodore Roosevelt's invitation of Booker T. Washington to dine at the White House was taken as an outrage in many quarters.
America today is a world away from the cruel and frightful bigotry of that time. There is no better evidence of this than the election of an African-American to the presidency of the United States.
Let there be no reason now ... Let there be no reason now for any American to fail to cherish their citizenship in this, the greatest nation on Earth.

I'm not so concerned about Obama winning but the balance of power going fully Democratic.
Did nobody see the lame-duck democrat majority the past 2 years? It's not that Bush was vetoing their bills, they never passed any bills that made it to Bush!
I wanted to see some sort of effective checks and balances, but that's out the window.
I'm shocked, with all the complaining of the shitty economy and poorly run gov't that people didn't look at the party lines of the existing senate and congress majority and put 2 and 2 together.
Looks like we have to listen to more of Pelosi. Uggh.

Yes....not my choice but I pray that the greatness of our system of government will prevail. I wish him and his cabinet the very best of luck as we work together to fix what is wrong and to keep what makes us so great. GOD BLESS AMERICA......
