Default Offered sponsorship

They've offered to sponsor me. I'm supposed to pay $140, then I get 20% to 80% off parts- A HUGE selection of parts.. just have to hunt down part numbers and such to get a quote. It costs $1 every time you get a quote of how much % off you'll be getting on that specific item..

What do you think?

Why do you have to pay if they are sponsoring you?

That's what I was wondering.. they explained it like this-
They give you a $5,000 pool. You buy parts, get 20%-80% off on those parts.. but that percentage that comes off the parts is what comes out of your pool. You still pay the difference.. I decided not to do it.

The guy bullshit me on the phone so hard. Telling me I had $5000 to spend if I give him $140.. he said it was going to be $5,000 and that 20-80% would come off the initial price and the remainder that was owed would come from the $5,000. I find out today he flip-flopped it on me just so I'd agree. I'm getting it situated though.. Mofo got me good
