How do you like the Subie Wagon? I'm thinking of getting one. How's it on gas?
I love it.
it's the 08, so only 224hp stock, but with stage 2 I like to think it's very close to the stock 09 as far as hp/ accelleration. The suspension is a little soft for me, especially after DD'ing the S for 7 years. I think my next mod is sway bars front and rear. That is supposed to really help those cars, and hopefully flatten it in the corners. After that I'll think about autocrossing it.

It's also an automatic which isn't as bad as you would think. I bought it for the sole purpose of serving as a commuter and I was driving through tampa 275 traffic several times a week. the sport shifter works great when you want to down shift yourself and it will redline and hit the rev limiter in manual shift mode which is one of my pet peaves with some of the other sport shifters (Lexus IS) out there.

I can't get enough of the turbo. It's a hoot when it's in boost and the acceleration is awesome.

To tell you the truth, I was not impressed with the shifter or the clutch on the manuals, although that was not the reason I chose the auto. definitely drive them before you buy them. Also, the boost curve is sloppy/ choppy as hell in it's stock form. At least go to stage 1 to clean that up and you should be moderately happy.
