I can imagine!! But I remember the first few days of your wickedness, it was quite, ummmm, how do I say it. Quite misshifting? hehe I am hoping to make it down one day soon, but work is killing me so I am not sure how soon I will make it down.

Torque doesn't win races. Horsepower wins races.

Wrong, torque gets you out of the hole, which is an S2000's weakest point. HP is just a theoretical number taken from the torque number.

What I said......

F1 engines have low torque at low rpm, but I'd sure not like to up against one. I always look at the horsepower.

It's not that the S2K doesn't have any torque, it doesn't have torque at low rpm. A diesel generally has high torque at low rpm, however do you know of a diesel powered car or truck you can't beat?

What I said....

:d ance2:

according to Carroll Shelby, "torque wins races". He claims this is why the AC Cobra was whipping the snot out of the ferrari's.

Well, I never was a Shelby fan........

I guess that's why America has to build a 300 horse monster to beat your 240 horse S. It's the torque! Suuuure it is.
