DIY. It isn't difficult and the tools required are not expensive.

Tools required:
2 ramps
1 jackstand (for safety)
17mm wrench or socket
funnel
drain pan

Drive up ramps. Turn off car, leave in gear, set ebrake. Place jackstand under subframe. Place drainpan under oil pan. Remove drain bolt from oil pan. Open oil filler cap. Remove oil filter from side of block (I use K&N oil fiters, they have a nice bolt head on them that makes removal with an adjustable wrench very, very easy). Coat o-ring of new oil filter with oil, to prevent adhesion to the engine block. Fill 1/2 of oil filter with oil. Once oil has stopped draining from the car, replace the oil pan drain bolt. Install new oil filter by spinning it on until it just touches the block (stops free spinning), then, by hand, tighten another 3/4 to full turn, or as much as you can by hand w/o too much torque. Insert funnel into oil filler hole. Fill w/ recommended oil type and amount. Remove funnel, replace cap. Pull drain pan from under car, recycle oil. Remove jackstand, roll car down ramps. done. Elapsed time, 20 minutes.

Thats a good investment if you dont have the tools and equipment already. To start off it might seem like a lot of money. But over time IF you are a do-it-yourself person, and dont mind getting dirty and dont mind driving somewhere to find where you can get rid of the dirty oil, so its not stacking up in your garage, and you have the time. Thats the way to go.
For some reason, it would seem like i want him to come over here, LOL.
