I cant see the video because I am here at work....but if its the one of the f35 on a carrier...its not real. Came from a game, battlefield 2 I believe. Either way, still really cool to watch.
the article explains down the screen it's not real.. the video on full screen is still cool.. an if some 12 yr old can flip an f35 on a video game.. just wait til he's 22 or so and a naval aviator.. and the craft then, can do.... lol...
when i was a kid, we took plywood an a pair of metal rollerskates an made our own skateboards.. i wouldn't have dreamed what they do now with a skateboard..... considering the technology... and some 40 plus years fine tuning....

Just watched it. Before reading any post I thought a video game.
If that was real life, the pilot is up for a medal, or a major court martial for paratically destroying about 2.5 billion in U.S. military hardware.

vector thrusting can do a lot of things...overcoming the laws of physics is not one of them....LOL
Maybe if the plane was another 1000 feet up, moving forward, and reinforced to do JUST that trick...then maybe but, it would have to be done much more quickly and aggressively with some kind of momentum because the thrusters are not 100% omni-directional, IMHO.
