Panhandle Forum consolidation
There has been some discussions with the Site Admins regarding consolidating the panhandle forum. Our community has seen a decrease in activity, and I wanted to post this so everyone knows this is in the works. This does not mean we are getting booted out. There are many forums to watch for meets and activity. To name a few, the Florida - Florida and Florida - South, Alabama, NOLA, and many others. And there is always the meets and events thread to find other gatherings of interest.
See ya on the road!!
See ya on the road!!
I also wanted to chime in and say hey first .....Hey
and to say that this is not set in stone yet either. The CO's and the admins have been dicussing options and one of them is the consolidation of this forum into the FL-FL forum.
One of the tough things we have been debating is the sheer size of the state and how communities find it hard to attend meets in various areas of the state and the issue is not an easy one to solve.
The site admins want to keep all of the forums active and dynamic, they feel this is the best way to retain users and attract new ones. It is not any disdain toward this region's forum in any way, it is just an observation that this forum is not being utilized either by way of population or interest.
Feel free to post your ideas in here and we can see what new perspectives we can report to the other CO's and Admins.
Sorry for my lengthy post but I did not want this community to feel that the powers that be were upset or passing judgement. They are just wanting to streamline for lack of a better term.
Thanks for reading

What's up tidalwdave!! Long time no talk too!! You are right about one thing, the core group that started it all, me included, have been gone and out of pocket for a while. Not to say that I'm not coming home soon, with a new toy! I hope we get to stay. I would love to come back and relight the fire that we once had.

This thread is not faring well for the defense of the panhandle forum.
the most activity since the CO's posted is a two way discussion about a new ride?!?!?!
Not flaming dave or naynay for posting but I thought we would get some opinion and defense of this thread remaining.
I would have liked to link to this thread and shown the admins some of the local opinions about the thread and the idea of consolidating it or not but maybe it really is dead in here.
