Default Parked by an Aston Martin,

I was at Borders today. When I got there, an Aston Martin Vantage was parked in the lot. It was metallic gray, not unlike the shade of my 2007 Silverstone. I got to thinking about some possible modifications one might make to an S2000.

Chrome slates could be inserted into the air intake like this:

I think I would also add either amber or blue hued fog lights.

Then I thought that, if the S2000 logo on the front fender were removed, there would be room for a side port like this:

Think there is enough room to do this mod?

There might be enough room for a discrete S2000 logo, floating in the port. Then remove the amber directional and replace it with a clear colored directional.

Has anyone ever thought of mods like this? I know that there are companies that make aftermarket mesh inserts for the air intake, but I haven't seen any grills that look like an Aston's.

i'm not sure you could pull it off with style. It seems as if it's destined to be like Fiero-ferrari.

I am sure someone already makes those fenders. Search for Z3 fenders on Ebay.

I like the styling on that car but dont think it would go well on the S2000.

I'm sure it will match the hood-cutting mod well though!

I really think it would look good with the mesh behind it! And yet another lightweight mod.

grillcraft makes a mesh for the front end, no billit bars though.

There is a company that makes a billet aluminum grill for the S2000. If memory serves, the company is located here in FL and they post auctions on Ebay frequently. I don't remember much beyond that.

The ones on eBay look like they have gills. I am thinking of something more akin to what is on an Aston.
