Please help, cracked plastic window..
Hey there. So I finished a rough test at school, it was nice out, so I decided I would take the drive home with the top down.
As we all know here it prettymuch never gets 40 degrees (I stay in Miami) so I didn't think I would ever have to worry about the plastic cracking, but it did.
I now have 2 fairly decent sized gashes in the back plastic window.
I have a 2000 s2k.
I've been reading around and the glass conversion seems to be the way to go. I always hated how the plastic looked so this isn't a complete loss.
I checked topsonline.com and their prices seem pretty crazy. I've heard good things about the robbins top. Topsonline recommends a few installers in our area, but I'm always really apprehensive when it comes to taking a car to a shop.
I'm putting my total expenses at about 1100 or so, is that about right? Assuming the top costs 600-700 and the rest is paid in labor.
I don'thave the mechanical aptitude or the time to do it myself, could anyone suggest a shop or person to contact to get this done? The sooner the better.
Any advice/suggestions would be really welcome. I'm trying not to flip out, but having to tape up those gashes in the back is going to break my heart until I get it fixed.
Please help!

You can buy the glass conversion tops for 450 shipped I believe on eBay. Found someone to install for like 400 as well.
Or just buy a used ap2 top with frame for like 700 and 200 for install.
