Default Ploished Valve Cover

Just picked up my valve cover from the metal polisher's and it sure shines. Probably going to repaint the spark plug cover glossy black. Planning on dressing up the engine bay so this is a good place to start. Not for everyone's tastes but if your thinking about having it done it cost me $120. The persons name is David and can be reached at 407-738-5856.

keep up the polishing. Every water drop you get on it will etch it so make sure you get some Mothers wheel polish or some other metal rubbing polish and hit that baby as often as you can

looks good

Looks great man! I always thought about doing this, but yeah what Rob said, it would be a pain to keep clean.

Best bet would be to drop it back off at the powdercoaters and have it cleared.

I've been toying with the idea of doing something with my valve cover,I like the polished valve cover, but I'm not sure if I want to always clean it,I dealt with that with my R-6 and all the polished parts on that...but it does look good

Like most polished or chromed parts, they are absolutely beautiful to look at, but i personally wouldn't want to have to keep them clean... haha!
